Banana Bread disaster Part II

Attempted this delicious recipe, again!  Oi Vey.

I was advised to try putting the dough in muffin pans, so they would bake more evenly, sure, that worked, but no one informed me that the baking time is cut in half!!

So, there I was, again, waiting for the bananas to ripen, the day finally came!  I gather all of my ingredients mix everything as directed and put them in two separate muffin pans. I put the timer for 45 minutes.  Never had a clue, it should have been 25 minutes. *palm to face*

Oh, yeah, the smell of fresh banana bread baking in the oven, the fragrant smell wafting throughout the house, I don't have a big house, so it was everywhere.

Then, I noticed the delicious aroma had dissipated and an unsavory smell began to permeate the atmosphere.  Ughh...!!!!

I ran to the oven, and sure enough they weren't that great looking, the tops were the only thing that were edible.  Good grief!!

So, I kept them and just scraped the top off and ate that part.  Meh...

I told my sister about it and she asked, "Didn't smell them burning?" I was like, "Yeah, but the instructions said 45 MINUTES!" And I wanted to get it right.  Wrong!

Don't fret dear readers, I will conquer this recipe and the muffin mountain.

HAPPY NEW YEAR - 2024
