Jasmine (J. J. Fischer) is living proof that it is possible to be addicted to tea and coffee simultaneously. Both made it possible for her to complete her Bachelor degree in English Literature and Creative Writing in 2012. Also a qualified psychologist with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in clinical psychology, Jasmine has been delving inside the minds of her beloved fictitious characters since they first presented themselves in a dream at age fourteen.I received a free digital copy of the following book from the author, Annette Whippole, in exchange for an honest review. How do owls see in the dark? Can owls spin their heads all the way around? Why do owls puke? These and other questions are answered by an owl expert, along with some extra information provided by the owls themselves!
It's a question-and-answer picture book. Reycraft Books shines in the design.
Each page spread focuses on one Q&A. In addition to the main text and lots of stunning photographs, each page spread includes a visit from an illustrated owl whooo shares from his perspective--often with a bit of sass.

However, cue the teen years, for some teenagers, it's like they are morphing into an individual that you hardly recognize, for most parents it's a real struggle watching their precious child changing and developing into an entirely new person. It can be daunting. And they begin to question everything you've taught them about God and life. And that's a good thing, but it's a time when a parent may need a little help with some of the tough questions about God's existence, prayer, evolution, atheism, just to name a few, and there are questions accompanied by multiple choice answers, and then the answer is explained in terms a teenager can grasp and comprehend. This book is fantastic teaching aid to help parents on really delving into the Word of God and the world that they exist in, which is pretty scary right now due to COVID-19. This book came at the perfect time. During these dark and dismal times, this is the perfect opportunity for parents to sit with their teenagers and work side by side with learning and embracing God, and the world He created. |
